ES: Galician Government releases comparative study on open software-based eCommerce platforms

Ban Tổng giám đốc về Hiện đại hóa và Đổi mới sáng tạo Công nghệ của Galicia (Secretaría General de Modernización e Innovación Tecnológica, in Galician) ngày 07/03/2011 đã đưa ra một nghiên cứu so sánh về các nền tảng Thương mại điện tử (TMĐT) dựa trên các phần mềm nguồn mở. Tài liệu này đã được Văn phòng Phối hợp Phần mềm Tự do Nguồn mở (PMTDNM) của chính quyền vùng chuẩn bị.
Trong nghiên cứu đầu tiên, có tên 'So sánh các nền tảng TMĐT dựa trên PMNM' (‘Comparativa de plataformas de comercio electrónico basadas en software libre’, bằng tiếng Tây Ban Nha) nhằm vào để trả lời cho 2 nhu cầu: để cải thiện sự hiện diện của Internet của các công ty của Galacia; để cải thiện một loạt các nền tảng TMĐT dựa trên PMTDNM như những kênh bán các sản phẩm và dịch vụ qua Internet của các công ty.
Nghiên cứu này phân tích và so sánh các giải pháp chính của PMTDNM có sẵn cho việc tạo ra các cửa hàng TMĐT được chỉnh sửa cho các nhu cầu của các doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ tại Galacia. Từ một phân tích ban đầu các ứng dụng có sẵn cần thiết cho hoạt động của các chức năng của một cửa hàng điện tử, số lượng các triển khai cài đặt và kích cỡ của các cộng đồng những người sử dụng/lập trình viên của mỗi nền tảng. Đi sau pha ban đầu này, 5 trong số các công cụ ứng dụng web PMTDNM phổ biến nhất được sử dụng cho các công ty mới khởi nghiệp đối với các cửa hàng trực tuyến đã được lựa chọn và được phân tích về các điểm mạnh và yếu.
Galicia's General Secretariat for Modernisation and Technological Innovation (Secretaría General de Modernización e Innovación Tecnológica, in Galician) released on 7 March 2011 a comparative study on open software-based eCommerce platforms. The document was prepared by the FLOSS (free/libre/open-source software) Coordination Office (Oficina de Coordinación FLOSS, in Spanish) of the regional government.
As laid down in the Autonomous Community's Action Plan 2010, the FLOSS Coordination Office is tasked with drafting studies on technology and business solutions and functions aimed at companies with a presence in Galicia.
This first study, entitled ‘Comparison of eCommerce platforms based on open source software’ (‘Comparativa de plataformas de comercio electrónico basadas en software libre’, in Spanish) aims to respond to two needs: to improve the Internet presence of Galician companies; to enhance the various FLOSS eCommerce platforms as channels for the sale of products and services across the Internet by local companies.
The study analyses and compares the main FLOSS solutions available for creating eCommerce shops tailored to the needs of SMEs in Galicia. From an initial analysis of the available applications needed for operating the functionalities of an eshop, the report examines the popularity of FLOSS platforms based on: their rankings in search engines, the number of implementations and the size of the user/developer communities of each platform. Following this initial phase, five of the most popular FLOSS web application tools used for the start-up of online shops have been selected and analysed in terms of strong and weak points.
Có nhiều lựa chọn thay thế được bằng PMTDNM trong lĩnh vực TMĐT. Những lựa chọn thay thế này đưa ra khả năng thiết lập được một cửa hàng điện tử cơ bản nhất với các tính năng và thiết kế đồ họa mà được thích nghi một cách không đầy đủ cho các yêu cầu của một công ty. Tiếp sau đó, các doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ mà không có được những tri thức và kinh nghiệm hoặc nhân sự về IT đủ năng lực, sẽ yêu cầu các dịch vụ từ các chuyên gia để thiết lập, thích nghi và thiết đặt cấu hình phù hợp cho dự án TMĐT của họ. Chi phí thích nghi sẽ được xác định bằng việc chỉnh giải pháp được chọn và sự phức tạp của dự án đặc thù.

There are many FLOSS alternatives in the area of eCommerce. These alternatives provide the possibility of setting up a mostly basic eshop featuring graphic design and functionalities that are not fully adapted to a company’s requirements. Consequently, Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that do not possess the expertise or qualified IT staff recruitment, require expert services to set up, adapt and properly configure their eCommerce project. The additional costs will be determined by adjusting the chosen solution and the complexity of the particular project.
