Cơ quan An ninh thông tin và Mạng châu Âu (Enisa) đã xuất bản website mới của mình đầu tuần trước. Site này được xây dựng bằng việc sử dụng hệ thống quản trị nội dung nguồn mở Plone và máy chủ ứng dụng Python nguồn mở là Zope.

Website của Enisa được mong đợi sẽ trở thành một nơi trao đổi thông tin của châu Âu, những kinh nghiệm và kiến thức tốt nhất trong lĩnh vực An ninh thông tin.

Lập trình viên của website Enisa, Georgios Gonzadinos, đã đề xuất rằng tổ chức này phê chuẩn việc xuất bản của anh ta như nguồn mở đối với các bổ sung và sửa lỗi mà anh ta làm cho hệ thống Plone.

Gonzadinos đã và đang đệ trình mã nguồn cho hệ thống Plone này nhiều năm, khi anh ta từng làm việc như một lập trình viên độc lập. “Tôi hy vọng Enisa sẽ ký một thỏa thuận để chuyển giao các quyền sở hữu trí tuệ cho quỹ Plone”.

Enisa, đặt tại Heraklion trên đảo Crete của Hy Lạp, được lựa chọn để chuyển sang hệ quản trị nội dung nguồn mở này theo sau một thảo luận của đội đặc nhiệm của cơ quan thì “Ngoài những ưu điểm cơ bản được chấp nhận của nguồn mở, Zope và Plone còn cung cấp những giải pháp được minh chứng, ,với an ninh mạnh”.

Vài tổ chức khác của Liên minh châu Âu cũng đã chuyển sang Plone và Zope. Cơ quan của châu Âu về An toàn và Y tế trong Công sở (EU – OSHA) tại Bilbao đã xuất bản mã nguồn cho hệ quản trị nội dung của họ dựa trên Plone và Zope vào tháng 5. Một ví dụ khác là Cơ quan Môi trường châu Âu (EEA), có trụ sở ở Copenhagen. OSOR cũng sử dụng sự kết hợp của Plone và Zope.

The European Network and information Security Agency (Enisa) published its new website early last week. The site is built using the open source content management system Plone and the open source Python application server Zope.

The Enisa web site is intended to become a European exchange of information, best practices and knowledge in the field of Information Security.

The Enisa website developer, Georgios Gozadinos, has proposed that the organisation approves his publishing as open source the additions and fixes he made to the Plone system.

Gozadinos has been submitting code to the Plone system for years, when he worked as an independent developer. "I hope Enisa will sign an agreement to transfer the intellectual property rights to the Plone foundation."

Enisa, based in Heraklion on the Greek island of Crete, opted to move to the open source content management system following a discussion by the web task force of the agency "Apart from the accepted basic advantages of open source, Zope and Plone provide proven solutions, with strong security."

Several other EU organisation have turned to Plone and Zope. The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) in Bilbao published the code for its Plone and Zope-based content management system in May. Another example is the European Environment Agency (EEA), based in Copenhagen. The EU's Open Source Observatory and Repository is also using the combination of Plone and Zope.
